Summary[edit]

Description
English: Park Wall at Thornhope Sikes The Park Wall is part of the impressive perimeter wall, 15 Km long (now partly replaced by a fence) which encircles Wolsingham Park Moor. The Moor (to the right of the wall in this photo) was for many centuries an extra-parochial territory which formed part of the hunting grounds of the Prince-Bishops of Durham. The small clump of trees lie in the valley of the Millsbull Sike.
