Description
Español: Penitenciaría del Estado de Chihuahua.

Fue en 1898 que se coloco la primera piedra por el Coronel Miguel Ahumada y se inauguro en 1908 por el Gob. Don Enrique C. Creelterminandoce en 1910 Es de estilo Neoclasico con con cantera en dinteles de puertas y ventanas. En 1912 se ocupo como cuartel de las Fuerzas Federales al mando del Gral. Huerta. En 1913 e. Gral Francisco Villa alojo a una parte de sus tropas y este monumento historico sobrevivio a los ataques que se sucitaron durante la Rev. Mexicana en el Norte de Mexico.

Actualmente es Penitencieria y es ocupada por reos tanto masculino como femenino.
