Summary[edit]

Description

a souk specializing in raw pigments for leather, plaster, paint, etc. pigments were priced at 1.02 dirhams (around .10 euro) per gram. These were very intense pigments as I spilt just a speck and it turned the whole table blue...

They had "majorelle blue" in stock! This pigment is used to paint the walls and details of majorelle garden. Other interesting pigments here: moroccan red (for plaster and brick), indigo blue, cobalt blue, marrakech orange (used to paint most buildings in marrakech).
