| Description |
Français : Animation présentant le fonctionnement du planimètre de Prytz. L'une des extrémités du planimètre (en noir) décrit le bord du domaine (en rouge) dont on cherche l'aire. Cette aire est égale au produit de la longueur du planimètre multipliée par la longueur de l'arc de cercle final nécessaire pour remettre le planimètre en place. Cette méthode produit une erreur de mesure égale à l'aire algébrique du domaine (en bleu) parcourue par l'autre extrémité du planimètre. |
