Plat Carpe, Sèvres, vers 1876 d'Albert Louis Dammouse (1848-1926) porcelaine dure, décor en pâte sur pâte, rehauts d'émail présenté à l'Exposition Internationale de Philadelphie en 1876 Don de l'artiste.

Objet présenté dans la salle sur le Japonisme, inspirateur de l'art nouveau au musée des arts décoratifs (Paris)

Le Japonisme désigne l'influence que l'art japonais a exercé sur les artistes français à la fin du 19ème siècle et notamment sur les artistes "art nouveau".
