English: Polish Church, Devonia Road, Islington The full name of this church is the 'Polish Roman Catholic Church of Our Lady of Czestochowa and Saint Casimir'. It was originally built in 1852 but was consecrated as a Polish church in 1930. It has served the Polish community in Britain ever since and was, during the Second World War, the only free Polish church in Europe. |
