Description

Sent by a nurse, Margaret Ripley, to her mother back in England.

As far as I can tell (corrections and additions welcome) this reads: "2.5.15 Just got yours & Lils letters. So sorry your hand is bad do see Dr about it. No plans yet hope you are getting P.C & letters thro[?] they are enforcing order of keeping everything back 5 days so you cannot hear much. It is mostly damp day today have only been to fetch letters. Have received the plum pudding from Bordeaux only that fetched by ambulance from Station & had to pay 5/50[?] on it I had to refund the man hard luck[?]. So glad to hear about Dud is he really back at R[???] now? Best love Mar"
