Description
English: Situation of Prairie Dog Creek Bridge in Harlan County, Nebraska. The bridge is located on County Road H less than half a mile north of the Kansas-Nebraska border. The picture was taken facing south on the county road. The camelback pony truss bridge was built in 1913 by the Monarch Engineering Co. and the Jones & Laughlin Steel Co. It is still in use, though Road P is a minimum-maintenance road. The bridge is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
