Description

The 2011 housing protests in Israel, are a series of ongoing street demonstrations taking place throughout Israel from 14 July 2011 onwards. Protests in Haifa

On the evening of the July 30, 2011, 11,000 demonstrators participated in a protest rally held in the center of Haifa. The demonstration included a mass march, which began at around 20:30, at the Isac park to the Horev Square, where the main rally was held.

מחאת הדיור היא הכינוי לסדרת הפגנות המתקיימות ברחבי ישראל מה-14 ביולי 2011 ואילך.

במוצאי שבת התקיימו הפגנות שונות ברחבי ישראל כאשר לפחות 150 אלף בני אדם יצאו לרחובות כדי להפגין נגד המדיניות החברתית של ממשלת נתניהו וקראו קריאות בגנות הממשלה ובעד צדק חברתי.‏הפגנות התקיימו בין היתר בחיפה, ירושלים, בבאר שבע, בכפר סבא ורעננה, בבאקה אל-גרבייה ובצומת סביון, באשדוד ונתניה, קרית שמונה, טבריה ועמק הירדן.

ההפגנה בחיפה, החלה בכינוס בגן יצחק שבפינת רחובות מאפו ושדרות מוריה בשכונת אחוזה, בשעה 20:30 לערך, מכן התקיימה תהלוכה עד כיכר חורב שם הוקמה במה נישאו נאומים שונים ומופעים. הקריאה המרכזית בהפגנה הייתה "העם דורש צדק חברתי". ההפגנה התפזרה בשעה 22:45 לערך. על פי הערכת משטרת חיפה, בהפגנה השתתפו כ-11,000 איש

הראפר קוואמי דה לה פוקס נשא דברים בהפגנה, והגיש שני שירים שכתב, אחד מהם חדש לחלוטין שכתב לכבוד ההפגנה בחיפה. התייחס לכךף שההפגנה בחיפה מעידה שהמחאה אינה תל אביבית אלא ארצית
