| Description |
Four plots of the universe's length-scale R vs. cosmological time t. Black is the closed Friedmann-Einstein universe (k=1, Λ=0), green is the Einstein-de Sitter universe (k=0, Λ=0), blue is the flat solution with negative cosmological constant (Λ=-1/3, k=0), and red is the same with a positive cosmological constant (Λ=1/2, k=0). For convenient normalization, we take C=2, where C is defined as (8/3)πGρR3. |
