Description

The Red Crystal, a protection symbol according to the Additional Protocol III (2005) to the Geneva Conventions of 1949, shown without an additional emblem inside. In addition to the established symbols of the Red Cross, the Red Crescent and the Red Lion with Sun, the empty crystal without any additional symbols confers protection for certain persons, buildings, vehicles etc. in an armed conflict according to International Humanitarian Law.
