[edit] Summary
| Description |
Deutsch: Reichsadler in der Zeit des Nationalsozialismus mit Hakenkreuz im Eichenkranz in den Fängen (1933–1945).
English: The Reichsadler or coat of arms of the Deutsches Reich (German Reich, 1933–1945), which features an eagle looking over its right shoulder, that is, looking to the left from the viewer's point of view. It is similar to the Parteiadler or coat of arms of the Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei (NSDAP; known in English as the National Socialist German Workers' Party or simply the Nazi Party), but the eagle of the latter is looking over its left shoulder, that is, looking to the right from the viewer's point of view (see File:Parteiadler der Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei (1933–1945).svg, shown below).
