English: Restored heathland, East Ramsdown This heathland is managed by the Herpetological Conservation Trust. The land was previously planted with pines as part of Ramsdown Plantation, some of which remain. The area has been sprayed to eliminate the regrowth of bracken, presumably to keep the reptile population happy. |
