Description Das Alte Rathaus ist das älteste Fachwerkgebäude von Rhens. Seine ältesten hölzernen Bauteile stammen aus dem Jahr 1514. Bis ins 17. Jahrhundert befand sich im Erdgeschoss eine große offene Halle, in der sich die Bürgerschaft versammelte. Das Fachwerkhaus wird von einem kleinen Glockentürmchen gekrönt, in dem sich lange Zeit die Feuerwehrglocke befand. Im Jahre 1998 wurde das alte Rathaus von Grund auf saniert.
