| Description |
English: Rosshill level crossing This crossing, about four kilometres outside Galway city, is still operated manually, like many in Ireland. The crossing keeper does not live in the adjacent house now. He uses the portable building behind and is based there for a service that is approximately every two hours in each direction. Here he is unlocking one of the gates to swing back across the railway. |
