English: Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.
The demolition of the old and the construction of the new zoo Diergaarde Blijdorp in Rotterdam. SHOTS: - entrance of the old zoo and sign (text: "Diergaarde - leden - membres - members - mitglieder") - several animals in cages (tiger Diana, monkeys and a lion); - workers tear down the old animal shelters; - former terrain of the zoo with demolished buildings; - cuilding activities at the new location.
