Français : Sète [sɛt] (en occitan Seta [ˈseta] ; également écrit Cette jusqu'en 1927) est une commune française située dans le département de l'Hérault et la région Languedoc-Roussillon. Ses habitants sont appelés les Sétois. Par sa population, Sète est la 152e commune de France, et la troisième de l'Hérault.

Według danych na rok 1990 gminę zamieszkiwało 41 510 osób, a gęstość zaludnienia wynosiła 1715 osób/km² (wśród 1545 gmin Langwedocji-Roussillon Sète plasuje się na 7. miejscu pod względem liczby ludności, natomiast pod względem powierzchni na miejscu 288.).

English: Sète (French pronunciation: ​[sɛt] ; Seta in Occitan) is a commune in the Hérault department in the Languedoc-Roussillon region in southern France. Its inhabitants are called Sétois. Known as the Venice of Languedoc and the singular island (in Paul Valéry's words), it is a port and a seaside resort on the Mediterranean with its own very strong cultural identity, traditions, cuisine and dialect.
