English: A Grumman SA-16B(ASW) Albatross in 1961. The SA-16B had been used by the U.S. Air Force as search and rescure aircraft. Starting in 1961 36 were converted to SA-16B(ASW) anti-submarine aircraft, which were used by Norway, Greece and Spain. Later these aircraft were designated SHU-16B. |
