Allerorical group portrait, probably showing Anthony de Bordes Sr. (1615–1678) leaving his son Anthony de Bordes (1855–1722) in the care of the Roman godess Minerva. To the left a table is lain with musical instruments and books, while on the floor children's toys are lying. Playing time is over and time for study has begun.
