English: Südostbahn BDe 4/4 multiple unit with a push-pull train from Biberbrugg to Arth-Goldau, just after Altmatt. This particular multiple unit was delivered in 1979 and remained in use until 2010. This class delivers an amazing 2100 kw (2860 hp)!
In this section, the line is alongside the raised bog of Rothenthurm, which is popular for cross-country skiing during winter.
Deutsch: BDe 4/4 der SOB mit einem Pendelzug unterwegs zwischen Biberbrugg und Arth-Goldau, kurz nach Altmatt. Dieser Triebwagen wurde in 1979 abgeliefert und blieb bis 2010 im Dienst. Diese Fahrzeuge liefern stolze 2100 kW (2860 PS) Leistung!
In diesem Abschnitt folgt die Linie dem Rothenthurmer Hochmoor, welches im Winter gerne für Skilanglauf benutzt wird. |
