Sabel, klinga Egypten, 1548-1549.
Description
Svenska: Fäste med beslag av reliefornerat, förgyllt silver. Framåtböjd kappa i form av ett lejonhuvud, vilket baktill övergår i ett ryggbeslag, ornerat som smala fenor och nående till kavelns mitt. Stora, rombiska styrskenor, ornerade med ett Medusa-huvud, tätt inneslutet av två ormar, det hela omgivet av en slät, blank kantlist. Handbygeln övergående i nedåtböjd bakre parerstång med ytteränden formad som ett gumshuvud. På var sida om krysset ornering av sammanpressade palmetter av plymliknande blad. På bakre parerstångens insida tre nästan utplånade silverstämplar: (J.M., tupp, huvud?).
Kavel av ebenholts, på in-och utsidan skuren i ett fint rutmönster, tvärsnittet ovalt, platt.

Klinga damaskerad, böjd och eneggad med en 280 mm lång jelman. På utsidan ett runt och två ovala ornament av påslaget guld med utsparade arabiska skrifttecken, närmast basen - "Amal Hadj Songkor", därefter "finns ingen Gud utom Allah. Mohammed är Allahs profet, 955" (1548-1549 e.Kr., tydningen efter katalogkort).
Ca 135 mm från basen utmed ryggsidan en bred, grund hålkäl, avsmalnande mot spetsen. Vid jelmanens överdel ett litet bladornament i relief av påslaget guld.
