Summary[edit]

Description
English: Very high magnification micrograph of a salivary duct carcinoma, abbreviated SDC. H&E stain.

SDCs resemble ductal breast carcinoma with comedo necrosis. SDCs are a male predominant disease and, curiously, have positive immunostaining for androgen receptor and may stain with PSA.

Benign serous glands are seen on some images and consistent with the parotid salivary gland.
