Károly, magyar király hermájának megszentelése. A 10 órai plébániai nagymisét követően ünnepélyesen elhelyezték a hermát. Két teljes bordacsontot emeltek ki IV. Károly madeirai koporsójából. Ezekből 300 apró csonszilánkot tégelyekbe foglaltak, ezeket osztották ki – többek között – Magyarország számos vidéki városába. Budapest két nagyméretű csontrészt kapott. Kb. 9 cm-es annak a két hátsó bordarésznek a fesztávolsága, mely a Szent István Bazilika és a budavári Nagyboldogasszony Koronázó Főtemplom tulajdona lett.
