Description
English: In this editorial cartoon published as the First World War drew to a close, Kaiser Wilhelm is shown sitting on a park bench in the rain, dead leaves (marked "DEFEAT") blowing past him, a dachshund crouched trembling beneath his coat. A tin can (also marked "DEFEAT") is tied to the dachshund's tail. Satterfield's "Little Bear" mascot comments that it is a "cold crool {sic} world, eh Bill".
