Summary[edit]
| Description |
English: Scaffolding over the western spires Urgent repairs being carried out on the spires of Truro Cathedral. Although only 100 years old, the stone was being badly eroded by the salt air and was in a dangerous condition. The blue plastic shrouding caught the December sunlight and gave the temporary illusion of a couple of elegant glass & concrete skyscrapers. The little cloud of smoke emanating from one of them is, however, completely harmless. |
