Deutsch: Schaffermahlzeit in Bremen: Eintreffen der Teilnehmer im Festsaal des Bremer Rathauses kurz vor dem Festessen, das in der danebenliegenden Oberen Rathaushalle stattfindet. Hier mit einer der zuschauenden Ehefrauen aus dem Kreis der (männlichen) Teilnehmer, wie verantwortliche Schaffer, Gäste und Ehrengast, auf der Galerie des Festsaals.
(Hinweis: Die Fotoaufnahme stammt zweifelsohne von einer der Schaffermahlzeiten gegen Ende der 2000er-Jahre oder im Jahre 2010. Da die Schaffermahlzeiten jedoch stets „am zweiten Freitag im Februar“ stattfinden, ist das angegebene Aufnahmedatum offenkundig falsch und die im Abschnitt "Metadata" wiedergegebenen Kameradaten für das Aufnahmedatum und die Aufnahmeuhrzeit sind bzw. waren offenkundig falsch eingestellt.) English: A "Schaffer meal" in Bremen, which is held annually by shippers and merchants of the city. The photograph shows the wife of one of the organizers looking down from a gallery at guests of honour arriving in the ballroom of the Bremen Town Hall shortly before the dinner, which is held in the adjacent Upper Town Hall. Women are traditionally excluded from the event, but this practice is now increasingly under fire. (Note: The metadata of the photograph is clearly incorrect, since "Schaffer meals" are always held on the second Friday in February every year.) |
