Deutsch: Hermann Schievelbein: eine von zwei Zinkguss-Figuren an der Grabstätte des Architekten Albert Dietrich Schadow auf dem Dorotheenstädtischen Friedhof in Berlin-Mitte (der Architekt ist nicht verwandt mit dem berühmten Bildhauer Johann Gottfried Schadow, dessen Grab sich auf demselben Friedhof befindet); das Grabmal hat die Form eines Triptychons, links vom Beschauer die hier abgebildete Figur mit der kaum leserlichen Inschrift ... Schadow, geb. Graun ..., in der Mitte die Stelle, wo das Portrait-Medaillon des Architekten hing, und rechts die Figur mit der Inschrift J. S. Emilie Schadow, geb. Bethge, geb. 6t. Januar 1805, gest. 4t. Juli 1853; die Zinkguss-Figuren wirken durch Besandelung wie aus Stein gemacht; die Begräbnisstätte, obwohl 1992 restauriert und überdacht, ist in einem beklagenswerten Zustand |
