View of the Industrial Canal at the Lake Pontchartrain end, from the upper (Western) side.

The Senator Ted Hickey Bridge(Seabrook Highway Bridge) spans the canal, behind it the Seabrook Railroad Bridge. Across the canal part of Lakefront Airport is visible. Photo taken from Lakeshore Drive on the upper (Western) side of the Canal, lakeward of Leon C. Simon Drive. This bit of Lakeshore Drive is outside of the higher levees protecting residential neighborhoods. Notice erosion in the foreground from lake storm surge.
