Summary[edit]

Description
English: Sign, L&H Printing in the Pioneer Square district of, Seattle Washington claims it to be the city's oldest retail business, founded 1882. (It may well have been, but the business no longer exists.) It was originally Lowman & Hanford Printing. More about the building (now officially the Washington Park Building) and the company at Summary for 68 S Washington ST S / Parcel ID 5247800030, Seattle Department of Neighborhoods.
The inconvenient angle on this picture is more or less inevitable: the Alaskan Way Viaduct is almost up against the building (you can see its shadow here), so you can't really see this from any farther back.
