Summary[edit]

Description
English: Northeast corner of Second Ave. S. And S. Main St. n the Pioneer Square neighborhood, Seattle, Washington. The nearest building, 220 Second Ave. S., was originally (1900) the office and retail outlet of the M. Furuya Company, and the headquarters of the Japanese Commercial Bank, both founded and run by Masajiro Furuya. The building has gained and lost floors at various times, and has had several uses; for details see Summary for 220 2nd AVE / Parcel ID 5247800900, Seattle Department of Neighborhoods (same building even though they omit "South" from the address). The building to the right was built around the same time by John Corgiat as a hotel. Besides some missing fenestration from earthquake damage, it remains much the same as when it was built.
