"Interior of the Scandinavian American Bank," from brochure Seattle and the Orient (1900). This building at the southwest corner of First and Yesler (diagonally across the street from Pioneer Square Park) still exists as of 2007 (as do the other buildings visible in the photo), though the bank is long gone; it has, in recent years, been a series of restaurants, takeout food joints, etc. |
