| Description |
English: Transportation ballot measure campaign literature, Seattle, Washington 1937. Upper image is a horsedrawn streetcar, presumably in 1886. It was part of the "Second & Front Street" line; I believe Front Street is now First Avenue. Lower image is looking north on Third Avenue, presumably in 1937. The Capitol (later Telenews) Theatre can be seen in background at right. It was at 1508 Third. Proposition A was to remove streetcars that run on tracks. [1]
