| Description |
English: Sign on the Blue Course at the East Potomac Golf Course in East Potomac Park in Washington, D.C., in the United States. The sign indicates the "cart rule" of the day.
"Cart rules" are the rules the course sets for handling golf carts on the course. A "90 degree rule" means that carts must stay on the cart track. When the player pulls even with the ball, the cart must make a 90-degree turn onto the fairway and come to a stop. This prevents carts from traveling on the fairway, and helps protect the grass. |
