| Description |
English: A view of the Sir Bobby Robson Bridge over the River Orwell (the tidal stretch of the River Gipping), in Ipswich, Suffolk, England. It's a cable-stayed bridge for both pedestrians and cyclists. Viewed from the west end here, it connects the town on far side with the new Voyage development on this side. It's 61m long and supported by the single 35m high pylon on this side. Opened in August 2009, it was named in honour of Sir Bobby Robson who was manager of Ipswich Town F.C. from 1969 until 1982, guiding them to success in the 1981 UEFA Cup Final.
