Description
English: Site of Mortimer's Castle. Viewed from the top of St Bartholomew's Church tower looking north. The motte is 170 foot in diameter and over 20 foot above the bottom of the ditch. Probably a castellated mansion belonging to the family of Edmund de Mortimer.
