Summary[edit]
DescriptionSlioch - geograph.org.uk - 7504.jpg |
English: Slioch. My all time favourite Scottish mountain viewed from the A832 between Kinlochewe and Gairloch on the south side of Loch Maree. The 'crown' is formed of Torridonian sandstone and the 'brim' is Lewisian gneiss - at 2500 million years old, some of the oldest rock in the world. |
