Description
Čeština: Praha-Smíchov, alegorická socha Vltavy a reliéfy Otavy a Berounky u plavební komory. Bronzová alegorická socha Vltavy je umístěna na sloupu u severního konce smíchovských plavebních komor, na navigační zdi prodlužující severní špici Dětského ostrovua, poblíž Janáčkova nábřeží a mostu Legií. Čtyři dívčí reliéfy po stranách soklu představují přítoky Vltavy: Otavu, Lužnici, Sázavu a Berounku. Sochu vytvořil roku 1916 prof. Josef Pekárek, architektonické ztvárnění pomníku navrhl František Sandner. U sochy se na jaře slavnostně otvírá vodácká sezóna a na dušičky se zde koná tryzna za utonulé.
