Description

Another nice day in June free of rain, so I decided to try my new Fujifilm FinePix S2980 out at Smethwick Galton Bridge (including the railway, bridges and canals).

Outside Smethwick Galton Bridge Station at Smethwick Junction.

Walking along the road near Smethwick Junction.

Snow Hill lines to the left, New Street lines to the right.

I was looking for the Malcolm X plaque but couldn't find it (was in the right area, just not on the right road).

A lot of the roads round here were missing road signs, so it was hard to know where I was (would have been a long walk to Marshall Street anyway).

The bridge to the right is near Oldbury Road.
