English: Solitary house alongside the A46 This lies between the Flintham and Syerston road junctions. It is marked on large scale maps as 'Police House', although it clearly no longer performs this function. It would presumably have housed the local bobby for Flintham and Syerston villages. The box on a pole is an owl nesting box. |
