Summary[edit]

Description
English: North Carolina Transportation Museum, Spencer, North Carolina. 09-03-07. The main repair shop of the former railcar repair shop of the Southern Railway. The old repair shop became antiquidated by the introduction of the diesel locomotive in the 1940s. Today it is undergoing a major historical renovation. The size of the building is deceptive; it is bigger than 2 football fields.
