English: “Spotted Owlets, Athene brama generally roost in small groups in the hollows of trees or in crevices in rocks or buildings. In daytime, they rarely go out and at night, they come out to prey upon mostly on small vermin rodents, and occasionally on insects and other small vertebrates. The population of this magnificent hunter is now under threat mainly due to habitat destruction which eventually will affect human population. I had to wait for about one hour to get that snap as, I think, they really don’t like attention from a disturbing agent.”
