| Description |
English: St.Mary's nave Lofty Perpendicular nave c1431-9 of St.Mary's church, made all the more spacious and airy by the absence of dark Victorian stained glass. Apart from the pews and other furnishings it has a very medieval atmosphere. Almost entirely built by the benefaction of the Bishops of Lincoln, Bishop Gray (1431-6) and Bishop Alnwick (1436-9). |
