Description
Deutsch: Freiungssäule (Freyungssäule), auch Weißmarter, St. Georgenberg. Diese gotische Wegsäule markiert die Asylgrenze (das Asylrecht wurde dem Kloster 1459 von Friedrich III. bestätigt). Sie trägt die Wappen der vier wichtigsten Stifterfamilien, Aiblinger (rechts) and Säbener; weiters, nicht sichtbar, Schlitterer und Freundsberger.
English: Medieval right of asylum boundary marker ("Freiungssäule") from approximately W; arms of four foundators' families, Aibling (right) and Säben (left); the other two sides bear the arms of Schlitters und Freundsberg families.
