Summary[edit]

Description
English: St Mary's church in East Carleton. The church as we see it today was almost entirely rebuilt in the early 19th century. St Mary's used to be adjoined in the east by another church, St Peter's > 1606689 of which only a section of west wall of its tower remains. Each church is surrounded by their own fenced-in churchyard. The two churchyards are separated from each other by a private driveway > 1606661. Despite their close proximity the two churches are situated in adjoining grid squares: Magicmap clearly shows the ruin and its churchyard in the grid square east of St Mary's church.
