| Description |
English: Stanley Road Stanley Road playing fields in Finchley have fallen into disuse. Once there was a football pitch in the winter and running track / cricket nets in the summer. The hard grit surface was murder on the knees! There is currently debate locally about the future of the fields - housing or a new sports facility. In the meantime a lost ball from the adjacent primary school shares the long grass with the dandelions. |
