Summary[edit]

Description
English: 1,170 cargo and passenger steamship Acajutla, built in 1911 by Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson of Newcastle-upon-Tyne for the Samvarod Railway Co and registered in London. In 1915 Pacific Steam Navigation Co of Liverpool bought her. In 1946 Neill & Pandelis Ltd of London bought her and renamed her Marathon. In 1947 she was transferred to Pandelis Line. In 1951 she was transferred to Naviera Latino Americana SA of San José. In 1952 Yemen NAvigation Co of Hodeidah bought her and renamed her El Moein. She was scrapped at Viareggio in 1950. She had a speed of 12.5 knots.
