Summary[edit]

Description
English: Campbell family gathering outside Ballimore House, Kelvin Grove, 1889

Ballimore House (Ballymore) was built by John Petrie (?) for James Campbell and family between 1875-1885. It occupied land in the vicinity of Bally and More Streets, Kelvin Grove. The estate covered a portion of land between Dunsmore Street and Breakfast Creek. It included a swamp area where the present Ballymore football field stands.
