Summary[edit]

Description
English: Royal Standard for use on ships carrying the King, under Otto I (1833-1862), adopted by the Royal Decree of 28 August 1858. The arms of the Bavarian Wittelsbach dynasty are superimposed on the plain cross civil flag, of 3:2 proportions. The shade of blue is lighter than the modern flag, reflecting contemporary usage.
Ελληνικά: Βασιλική σημαία, φερόμενη επί πολεμικών πλοίων που φέρουν τον μονάρχη, την περίοδο του βασιλιά Όθωνα (1833-1862), σύμφωνα με το Β.Δ. της 28 Αυγούστου 1858. Ο θυρεός της δυναστείας Βίτελσμπαχ είναι τοποθετημένος πάνω από την απλή πολιτική σημαία με τον σταυρό, με αναλογίες 3:2. Η απόχρωση του μπλε είναι ανοιχτότερη από αυτή της σύγχρονης ελληνικής σημαίας.
