Κατηγορίες ειδών χαμηλού κινδύνου[edit]

Κατηγορίες και Κριτήρια 2001 (version 3.1)	Περιγραφή	Κατηγορίες και Κριτήρια 1994 (version 2.3)
	Ελαχίστης Ανησυχίας (LC or LR/lc), (Least Concern) Τάξα που έχει εκτιμηθεί ότι δεν ανήκουν στις κατηγορίες κινδύνου. Συνήθως είναι σχετικά κοινά ή ευρέως διαδεδομένα είδη.
	Σχεδόν απειλούμενα (NT or LR/nt), (Near Threatened) Τάξα που έχει εκτιμηθεί ότι δεν ανήκουν σε μια από τις τρεις προηγούμενες κατηγορίες κινδύνου, είναι ωστόσο κοντά στο να πληρούν τα σχετικά κριτήρια και άρα είναι πιθανό να ενταχθούν σε αυτές στο άμεσο μέλλον.
Δεν αποτελεί πια κατηγορία της Κόκκινης Λίστας	Εξαρτούμενο προστασίας (LR/cd), Τάξα υπό τελούμενα υπό προστασία, η παύση της οποίας θα είχε ως αποτέλεσμα την πλήρωση των κρητιρίων μίας κατηγορίας κίνδυνου σε πέντε χρόνια.

	Εύτρωτο(VU), (Vulnerable) considered to be facing a high risk of extinction in the wild
	Κινδυνεύον (EN), (Endangered) considered to be facing a very high risk of extinction in the wild.
	Κρισίμως κινδυνεύον (CR), (Critically Endangered) facing an extremely high risk of extinction in the wild.

	Πιθανώς εξαφανισμένο στο φυσικό του περιβάλλον (PEW), (Possibly Extinct in the Wild) A term used within the IUCN Red List. A subcategory of CR.
	Εξαφανισμένο στο φυσικό περιβάλλον (EW), (Extinct in the Wild) known only to survive in cultivation, in captivity or as a naturalized population (or populations) well outside the past range.
	Πιθανώς εξαφανισμένο (PE), (Possibly Extinct) a category given by BirdLife International. A subcategory of CR.
	Εξαφανισμένο (EX), (Extinct) there is no reasonable doubt that the last individual has died.

How to translate into your language[edit]

Translating the images is easy:

• Save the svg images to disk
• Open with Inkscape
• Edit the text
• Save as plain svg
• (For advanced users: you may be able to avoid using inkscape, and simply edit the svg file in a text editor)
• Add your 2-letter language code to the filename (see example, right)
• Upload again to Commons
