Summary[edit]
DescriptionSteeles Tavern Sam The Record Man 1968 Toronto.jpg |
English: Steele's Tavern and Sam The Record Man on Yonge Street, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Gordon Lightfoot was "discovered" playing at Steele's Tavern by Ian and Sylvia Tyson in 1964, while Sam The Record Man grew from this location into a chain of music stores (and this location grew to occupy much of the block, including the tavern site). |
